SM10 is a 3-unit condominium project located in a residential neighborhood in Santa Monica, California. The 2-story building with semi-subterranean parking was crafted to fit into the urban fabric consisting of 2 to 3-story building masses. The material palette is understated yet rich featuring bush hammered stone cladding, smooth cement plaster and bronze colored aluminum.
Key volumetric subtractions provide a central entry court along the northern side-yard with an open stair connecting all floors, and private patios and terraces at the front and rear elevations.
